A Hand-Up, Not a Hand-Out

Tulsa officers spotted Tim Dutton standing with a sign that read, “Deck the halls with kindness” on one side and “Work for food” on the other. “I’m not looking for a handout, just a hand-up,” Dutton shared. Officers stepped in with kindness and support, blessing Dutton with a a gesture he says was a blessing not just for him, but also for friends living along the river who rely on the department’s compassion and reliability.
